Broward/Miami Dade, FL– BurgerFi franchised locations in Dania Beach, FL, and Aventura, FL, are the first restaurants in the USA to utilize Germicidal Ultraviolet (GUV) disinfection technology by ETi Solid State Lighting as part of an advanced mitigation strategy to protect customers and employees from airborne pathogens and viruses.
The franchisees of the Dania Pointe and Aventura BurgerFi locations have partnered with Blue Halo Lighting LLC, exclusive distributors for ETi, to install SilentAire UVC disinfecting light fixtures throughout both restaurants to provide visitors with a safe and effective air disinfection solution. SilentAire and CleanAire LED light fixtures utilize cutting-edge UVC technology to effectively deactivate and kill 99.9% of bacteria, mold, fungi, and viruses. Blue Halo Lighting LLC is now taking preorders online for products only available in the U.S.

SilentAire UVC light fixtures, developed by Wheeling, IL-based ETi Solid State Lighting, combine ambient LED lighting with the latest in UVC technology for occupied spaces. Featuring a sealed internal UVC disinfection chamber that ensures zero direct UVC contact, an extremely quiet integral air circulation system draws ambient air into the sealed UVC chamber, where it is treated and then recirculated back into the environment. SilentAire fixtures include a combination of 2×4 UVC LED flat panels, a 2×2 UVC LED ceiling troffer, a 10” UVC LED universal flush mount fixture, and 6” UVC LED round downlights. All installed fixtures are safe for use in occupied spaces, ensuring continuous effective air disinfection while people are in the room.
Burger Guys of Dania Pointe and Aventura will celebrate the introduction of the revolutionary SilentAire and CleanAire systems at both locations on August 14th at Dania Pointe followed by the Aventura location on August 15th.

SilentAire UVC Air Disinfection System
The SilentAire product line offers a hybrid ambient lighting & germicidal air disinfection solution that combines ambient LED lighting and UVC air treatment technology with an extremely quiet built-in circulation system that is for use in occupied spaces while effectively killing 99.9% of bacteria, mold, fungi, and deactivating viruses in the air.
SilentAire LED light fixtures contain a patented circulation system that draws ambient air from a room into a sealed UVC disinfection chamber, preventing direct UVC exposure. The air is treated with UVC wavelengths and then is recirculated back into the room as purified air.
